At first, I wasn’t too sure about this book, but once I started reading I couldn’t stop. The writer did an excellent job of pulling two stories together into one. One chapter is life with her mother inside the compound. The next one is as if she had chosen to live with her father. The two paths take off in different directions, but quickly you discover that they cross more than once. This takes talent to do right, and this author nailed it.
Wonderful read that had me turning the next page as I just had to see what happened. Highly recommend it to any YA reader. Characters are wonderful. They are believable and easily connectable. The plot is unique and creative which draws you in once the pivot point is reached.
There is some romance. There is some mystery. There is teenage drama. There is something supernatural about it all.
Check this book out. I don’t think you will regret it.
