From the first paragraph, the story has the reader sucked in and pulled along on a thunderous river of twists and turns. I found myself unable to stop reading as the plot got more and more complicated and all my theories were thrown out the window. Nothing was holding water. AND I LOVED IT!
The author artfully delves into the emotions parents have in losing their children as well as dealing with the traumas from childhood. I found myself feeling their pain and then the fear and confusion as it all began to spiral around me as I read.
I honestly can’t say much more without giving too much away, and I hate spoilers! So that is all I’ll comment on this part.
Excellent writing. I’m never disappointed with this author, and this story is one of the best so far.
Like suspense? Like mystery? Like twists that take your breath away? Then you have to read this book.
