Reviews are what people think of your book. They read it and share what they thought so other readers can see it. These reviews are used to decide if they are going to buy the book or not. You need these reviews.
So how do you get reviews? Ask people you know. If they read your book, ask them to post an honest review. Sign up for a virtual book tour. You pay for someone to organize promotions that will include reviews, guest posts, interviews, and features. Contact reviewers. Give your book to people who are willing to write reviews on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, newspapers, magazines, online sites. There are directories that list book reviewers.
You want an honest reviewer. It’s great having your sister write a glowing review, but she needs to be completely honest with the good and bad. Readers do not like 5-star reviews that state that the book was perfect. There is no such thing. Good solid reviews get sales.
Encourage people on your blog and social media platforms to leave reviews if they read your books.
